Dr. Clement Seeballuck
BA, B.Dent.Sc.(Hons), MFDS RCSEd, FDTFEd, FHEA - Clinical Lecturer Paediatric Dentistry, Uni of Dundee, Scotland
Dr Clement Seeballuck is a Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry at the University
of Dundee.
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2009, worked in General Practice for 5
years before transitioning to Hospital Dentistry. He undertook Core Trainee posts in
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Paediatric Dentistry.
He has been a Clinical Lecturer at Dundee since 2015 and has presented at
numerous national and international conferences and has published on a variety of
topics.
Clement is passionate about initiatives that address inequality and has a keen
interest in frugal, innovative teaching methods. He strongly believes in empowering
students and is an advocate of a co-creation approach to teaching.
Dr Seeballuck has received multiple awards relevant to his clinical practice and
teaching, including the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE)
Excellence in Dental Education: Early Educator Award, and two NHS Gold Star
Awards.
He received his fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons Faculty of Dental
Trainers in 2023 and to the Higher Education Authority in 2024.
He is currently undertaking a PhD on the evaluation of remote training tools that
simulate clinical skills.
